THEY'VE ALREADY STARTED KILLING US. IT WON'T STOP ON ITS OWN.

In the past month, ICE agents have gunned down two more civilians in the street: Joan Durán Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine, and Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston, Texas. Neither was the target of the operation that killed him. Both were workers, driving to their jobs, shot through their windshields. The killers remain free.

At the State Department last week, Stephen Miller spelled out what comes next. He called anyone who opposes capitalism — communists, Marxists, anarchists, anti-imperialists — "an encroaching darkness," "enemies of civilization," people "filled with ugliness" whose very bodies are "deformed." This is not rhetoric. This is the language of annihilation. They are preparing the ideological ground to criminalize, imprison, and kill anyone who resists.

We protect us. The state will not protect you. The Democrats will not protect you. The union bureaucrats will not protect you. The only force capable of defending working people is the organized working class itself, and that defense requires the means to carry it out.

Nutmeg Firearms Training provides Connecticut pistol permit certification at sliding-scale cost, down to $0 for poor and working-class people. No NRA sponsorship. No right-wing gun culture. No law enforcement.

This is one piece of a larger fight. Individual armament is not a substitute for collective organization, but collective organization without the capacity for armed self-defense is a target, not a threat. The Russian workers didn't win October 1917 with pamphlets alone. The picket line, the neighborhood defense committee, the strike — these are the foundations of working-class power, and they must be defended.

If you're organizing in your workplace, your community, or against the deportation machine, you should have the training and the means to protect yourself, your family, and your comrades.

Defend yourself. Defend your class. Build the collective power to fight back.
